Genetic Disease & Indonesia

The Human Variome Project focusses on sharing genetic data to save lives & reduce disease.

For example Indonesians are particularly  at High Risk of thalassemia,a genetic disease that disrupts hemoglobin production in red blood cells, leading to anemia.
